Salon is Under Way
After bringing in the tub today we started to create the rough lay out for the salon. We weren’t really sure where we wanted to put things exactly or how everything would really fit realistically. I think we finally have a good idea of the layout now though. I am really excited to see things come together. I think it will turn out rather well. We have plans to box in the tub. There will be steps up to the tub nice and sturdy to save the back from lifting those bigger dogs. Hanging the drier between the tub and the table to allow for the vacuum attachment to be used on the table side. There will be a divider at the tub to act as a “side-splash” and come down to a walk way to the table. The table will be on an angle in the corner to help get to all sides without being in the wall too much and not leaving much launch space to jump from. As well there should be plenty of room for storage. Pipes will be covered on the side by a platform keeping everything tidy looking. It should have a very nice little feel to it.
Now because this is also Renegade’s area I should mention that he is keeping his private room under the stairs. His large brown recliner has been moved to create a half wall closing off foot traffic into the closet. This puts it right next to his wall hook and near his water bucket. Gives him a few more options when he has to be confined to his “room”.
