Museum Monday Starts the Week
Well, the weekend was pretty crazy. There was a lot going on and I am glad that it is over. Monday was a great day though. Mom, Joey, and I went down to the city to visit the Field Museum. There was a horse exhibit there that I had been wanting to see. The exhibit was good. Some of the items on display I recognized from the Kentucky Horse Museum. I have been there a few times as well. We also spent some time seeing Sue, the tyranasauras rex exhibit. I had written several reports on her in school and always enjoy seeing her. We saw the whale exhibit and several other parts of the museum that we were interested in.
After seeing what we wanted to in the museum we headed out for dinner. We ate in the city at The Melting Pot. Mom and I had eaten there once before when we went to see the Body World exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry a few months ago. Joey had never eaten there though. It was a lot of fun.
Yesterday, Mom and I had appointments to get facials. We had a wonderful and relaxing morning together. Joey spent much of the morning helping me clean up the Dell laptop and loading some things onto the Viao I have been using. We also spent much of the afternoon playing one of our old time favorite games online.
Today’s project has been to back up Mom’s files from the Dell and then move me onto the Dell. Its been a slow process. So far it has gone well though. Not a bad start to the week.
